Pre-Conference Workshops WIDS Made Easy If you haven't tried the WIDS Wizards, you may be working too hard on your curriculum! This hands-on workshop will show you how to make your curriculum tasks easier by using WIDS Wizards to quickly create syllabi, course outcome summaries, learning plans and assessment tasks. You'll also create instant reports and save them to MS Word in a matter of moments (not minutes!). Learn to access files on the WTCS CurriculumBank and run WIDS Analyzer reports. Receive a complimentary copy of the new, easy-to-use WIDS QuickStart Guide. Take the WIDS Wizards for a spin; we think you'll like what you see! [Workshop Leaders: Terri Johnson and Susan Sharkey] This workshop is hosted by the Wisconsin Technical College System Foundation - WIDS Division. This is a daylong workshop for potential new authors to learn how to design, develop and submit content for Wisc-Online technicians to create into learning objects which are shared worldwide. A multimedia instructional designer and Flash technician will be available to guide you through the process, answer your questions, give you ideas, and work with you to transform your ideas into effective learning objects. Participants need only to being their great ideas! If interested in participating, please email Kay Chitwood at chitwood@fvtc.edu to register. |
